6:45 P.M. MEMBERSHIP MEETING President’s report, presentation of Preservation Awards, and election of officers and board members. Nominees for terms on the BRI Board of Directors are Elizabeth Cox-Ash and LeAnn Luce. The nominee for BRI President is Devin Blankenship, Vice President Pete Kinne, Treasurer Elizabeth Cox-Ash and Secretary Jan Sorby.

7:15 P.M. KEYNOTE LECTURE Join local historian and documetary maker Elizabeth Mitchell for a talk about the near northwest side of Bloomington in the segregation era. Author and historian James H. Madison says “Liz not only has an enthusiasm for history but also an inner sense of the nature and value of history and a superb ability to communicate to public audiences. She knows how important local history can be in helping all people understand the varieties of racial differences.”
